City fountain in Nizhny Novgorod

The city administration decided to repair the city fountain. The work was serious. It was necessary not just to renew the coating, but to strengthen the protection against corrosion. Given the constant moisture and splashing water, we decided to take a competent approach to the restoration and perform a comprehensive protection. We chose the following scheme: primer + additional protection + finish decorative layer.

After cleaning of the old paint we put a primer Zincor with double protection of metal on a chemical and physical level. Primer with high adhesion (1 point) easily adhered to the surface. A black protective and decorative paint was used for the finish.

Work was carried out out outdoors without the possibility of removing the fountain. We painted by hand, but it did not take much time and labor. The paint was stirred and easily applied right on the spot.
