Zincor is a zinc-rich metal primer with double protection against corrosion (barrier and cathodic protection). Barrier protection creates an insulating layer over the metal. This layer remains impervious for as long as possible and protects against environmental aggression. Cathodic protection is the ability of the zinc coating to gradually oxidize and sacrifice itself to the metal substrate.
The peculiarity of the material is that the anti-corrosion protection is higher than that of epoxy, polyurethane and other anti-corrosion compositions. The minimum number of layers is 1 layer.

Zincor is suitable for metal protection under weather conditions in all macroclimatic regions, in the soil, it is resistant in fresh and sea water, water solutions of salts (pH = 6.0-10.0), in ethyl alcohol and its aqueous solutions. The coating is not resistant to a number of organic solvents.
The composition is widely used in such areas as industrial and civil construction, transport construction, oil and gas complex, energy, railroad facilities, port and hydro facilities, motor transport, forging and artistic forging.

As a primer Zincor is compatible with many coatings, including alkyd, acrylic, acrylic-urethane and polyurethane bases.
Among the coatings produced by the company Zincor are perfectly compatible with Zincor primer:

Step 1: Surface preparation
Step 2: Preparation of the composition
Zincor must be well mixed to a homogeneous mass (with a drill with nozzle) or with a mixer. Further, while working stir every 15-20 minutes, so that the zinc does not sink to the bottom. If necessary dilute to the working viscosity with the solvent (5-10% by mass).
Step 3: Application
The compound can be applied by any means: with a brush, a roller, by dipping or with a spray gun. Application temperature from -30°C to +60°C. Apply the second and subsequent coat after 30 - 60 min.
Always use protective equipment: goggles, mask, respirator, paint suit, gloves. Apply in a ventilated area. Do not apply in the vicinity of fire.
