Where and how to use Zincor?

Corrosion protection paint with zinc Zincor belongs to the multifunctional compositions. A self-contained coating for metal protector protection is its main purpose. However, the zinc paint can also be used as a leveling primer and for restoration of previously galvanized metal.

The use of the paint allows solving many problems in manufacturing and restoration of metal structures. It is used in industry, metallurgy, transport, energy, construction, roofing, landscaping, automotive and forged products.

Zincor paint provides double protection: on the internal (electrochemical) and external (barrier) level

A self-contained protective coating

Zincor paint provides double protection: internally (electrochemical) and externally (barrier). Zinc interacts with less active ferrous metals, giving them its electrons when exposed to negative factors. As a result, the base metal remains unaffected by moisture and oxygen, and the zinc coating slowly thins. External protection minimizes the effects of the environment on the zinc layer itself. Such a powerful complex action ensures preservation of protective properties for up to 50 years!

Priming coat for painting

The anti-corrosive zinc-containing paint is also suitable as a protective primer coat. It levels the surface while creating a reliable barrier against corrosion. After application of the paint a matte gray coating is formed. In industry, agriculture, energy and construction it is rare for steel structures to be given a colored finish. Decorative painting is usually required for vehicle repairs, landscape structures, and artistic forging products.

Anticorrosive zinc-containing paint Zincor is used as an independent coating, a primer under the finish coating, to protect weld seams and for repair of previously galvanized surfaces

Coating restoration

The ability to restore previously galvanized metals and damaged coatings is one of the main advantages of Zincor paint. When re-applied, the subsequent coat liquefies the previous one, thus restoring the coating.

Zincor - one of the few anti-corrosive compositions, which allows you to perform welding work and even treat welds after galvanizing

Layers do not overlap, which prevents them from peeling. This ability has led to the use of zinc paint in the restoration of metal structures, in the repair of vehicles, fences and stairs.

Welding work and weld protection

Zincor is one of the few corrosion protection compounds that allow welding works and even processing of welds after galvanizing. With a layer thickness of up to 40 μm the coating does not emit any harmful fumes and the resulting zinc dust is easily removed. After welding, there are no extensive fouling areas as with epoxy paints.
