Compatibility of Zincor with other paints
Zinc-containing anti-corrosive paints create a matte gray tread layer. For industrial, construction or hydraulic structures no additional decoration is required. But for automotive parts or structures used in landscape and interior design, a beautiful finish is required.
Colored pigments cannot be added to zinc-rich compositions because this reduces their protective properties. Consequently, other paints are needed for the decorative treatment. Specialized compositions are required to cover metals after hot-dip galvanizing. The advantage of Zincor is that it is compatible with most alkyd, acrylic, acrylic-urethane and polyurethane based paints.
The best paints for finishing coatings
At Zincor, we have developed formulations that are perfectly compatible with Zincor zinc primer. In addition to a beautiful appearance, these coatings provide additional corrosion protection for up to 10 years.
- Zincor-Aluminum is a protective and decorative paint with ground aluminum (powder) in a synthetic solution. It forms a brilliant silver coating on the surface of metal. Reminds of silver paint, but has an improved protection effect.
Decorative painting possibilities
The compatibility of zinc paints with colored and textured paints solves two problems. Firstly, additional barrier protection against corrosion is provided. When applied to zinc primers, another protective layer is created on the surface. Secondly, color paints expand the possibilities of Zincor application for repair and restoration works. Thanks to paints on different bases it is possible to renew coatings of vehicles, exterior fences, roofing and art forging products.
